The Perfume : Lovely & Tresor in Love

I went to Singapore last Friday with hubby and sis in law for sight-seeing. First stop was at the Singapore Flyer. But I was too scared of the height, I decided not to hop in the giant wheel ride. End up my hubby need to company on the ground. It was a nice place to hang out with a little forest elements and plus with the christmas decorations. We then head up to Lucky Plaza to buy a perfume.

As we arrived there, my sis in law asked me to choose any perfume that I want ^_^

Seriously I don't have any preference and so I randomly chose Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker because of its different scents. It has a hint of lavender, orchid, apple martini, and musk. I was like fall in love with smell at the first sight but when I reached home to try on again... I felt like the smell was a bit strong... well maybe my smell sense getting sensitive due to the pregnancy (not a lame reason ok.. treeetttt)

After the disappointment of the smells, I compensate myself with a new perfume. I bought at KLIA during my flight back to JB. It was Tresor in Love by Lancome. Just like the name, I falled in love with the scents on the first smell (this time is for real!!!). Long time ago I used the Tresor Classic, it was quite strong topnote but I like it because it was not a typical perfume smell. The new Tresor in love is more lighter and not too flowery scent, sweet and not cloying and has a fruity scent. Its a flirty and youthful appealing feel.

I really really really wanted to buy Oh Lola! by Marc Jacobs but darn it was too expansive for me. Maybe next time when all my perfumes finished, I can smash my piggie bank to buy the perfume. Well Oh Lola!, we are not destined to be together at the moment.

Christmas Gift

Christmas eve is just around the corner. Most of the expats in my office are already back in their hometown to celebrate the festive with the family.

I was on medication leave for the past two days due to eye infection and so I missed the office Christmas party. Luckily I took the chance to prepare a small gift for my boss and my colleague, before they go back to Sydney and Manila. A parrot and peacock figurine brooch. I bought something for myself too!

A parrot for my boss and a peacock for my colleague
My new brooch line-up :

Also luckily me, my boss gave a box of Ferraro Rocher in return. Coincidentally, this is our first time give presents to each other.

One of my fav. Thanks boss!
To all the christians out there, merry christmas and happy hol!

J.Co Hazel Berry Coffee

Hazel Berry Coffee

From the colour of the coffee itself you can tell the taste.. too much milk and too light for the coffee lover.

It supposed to have a hint of hazelnut and berry flavour, unfortunately I tasted neither of it. Not sure if the barista doing it correctly or maybe my tounge was lil bit blunt.

Nescafe Latte Style

For those who got style.. This is perfect for you :-|

I found this new beverage at Petronas Seremban Highway. As I'm a fans of Nescafe especially latte, I bought this beverage although I was advised not to due to my pregnancy :-P

The taste was more smoother and lighter compared to latte canned. Not to forget the tiny and stylish packaging make it more a lil bit luxury appeal. I forgot about the price but the bottle is in 200ml.

p/s : this is my first time using blogger-droid. not sure how would it look like.. heheehe

Lets do the Chacha with Cha Cha Tint

Cha Cha Tint.. isn't the name sounds cute? I bought this lovely orangie lip stain last month in lowyat forum. I'm such a huge fans of lip stain range by Benefit.

Why I love this product? Simply because its 2-in-1 functions. You can use it on your lips, as well as on you cheek! And it looks soo natural!!! Helps you a lot whenever you carry a small tiny handbag or maybe a clutch.

That is why when I saw Benefit launched a new range of lip stain, I gave myself a try to play with the colour.

The texture is a bit sticky and thick compared to Benetint. It has a similar texture with Posietint. Cha cha tint is more like a summer revealing, while Posietint is a hint of pinkish innocent look.

The difference between Cha Cha Tint & Benetint ... i love both!

In retail it cost RM145 (more/less) but via online I just paid RM120. And if you willing enough to wait a bit longer, you can pre-order online from Benefit US. I heard after conversion it will cost around RM80 - RM100. Not bad huh?

So .. shop wise ladies!

Hubby's Birthday

It was my hubby birthday last August 6th, 2011 and i decided to order a customised chocolate with the birthday wishes on it. I couldn't figure out any suitable colour theme for the chocolate and so I left the decision to the chocolate maker. I've chose 35 cavities with hazelnut choc, caramel and strawberry for the fillings. It cost me RM65 + RM10 (delivery free).

Happy Birthday Dudu!

Instead of buying a birthday card for him, I decided to create the birthday card + envelope by myself. And as a result... tadaa...

I recycled my notebook month separator and put our picture on it. So its like a 2 in 1 stuff... birthday card + bookmark.. talking about how creative I can be! Hahahaha.

My sister did asked me, what else did I gave my hubby for present and my answer was... MY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND AFFECTION ;)

Love u ;-*

Heaven for Real & The Letter in the Bottle

Its been quite a long time I didn't buy any novel for my own reading. It happen last week when my hubby and I went to MPH City Square to buy few books for my father's present. They were having 105 years celebration and some of the books have 30% off.

I grabbed this chance to buy 2 books for myself, Heaven for Real & The Letter in the Bottle. I have finished reading Heaven for Real. Basically its more about the Christianity Life as a kid told his parents that he went to see a Jesus during the surgery. Yeahhh.. its awkward when a muslim reading christian's book. To tell you the truth I didn't really read through before I buy the book. But then, as a muslim after reading the book, the morale of the story I've learnt is to keep your faith to our creation, have some patience & efforts and help will come along the way. I haven't started read The Letter in the Bottle yet but will going to start soon!

Here are some reviews I got from the internet~
Heaven for Real
A young boy emerges from life-saving surgery with remarkable stories of his visit to heaven. Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear. Colton said he met his miscarried sister, whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each.

The Letter in the Bottle
On a winter's day in 2002, a bottle shaped like a tear washed up on the Kent coast. It contained a letter written in French, a lock of hair, and a mystery. Only one thing could be known for certain - that the writer of the letter was a mother, grieving for her lost child, Maurice. Moved by the woman's heartache Karen Liebreich sets out on an epic journey to piece together the mother's story. Her book is the amazing true story of one woman's search for another, and a poignant reflection on love, loss and motherhood. In this revised edition Liebreich concludes her epic quest, finally meeting the woman who sent the bottle years before and coming to understand the loss that was at the heart of one mother's impulse to communicate with the unknown.
